Courtney Pierce is a recurring character in Abbott Elementary. She was transferred to Janine Teagues' class until she was bumped up to third grade in season one.

She is portrayed by Lela Hoffmeister.

History[]

Season 1[]

In Student Transfer, Courtney transfers to Janine's class. When Janine heads to Melissa Schemmenti's classroom to pick up Courtney, Janine brags about being better than Melissa. While in Janine's class, she first tells the class her name is Janine Teagues. Then, when the class does the pledge of allegiance, the class replaces some words in the pledge with her name. It is later revealed that Courtney was transferred because Melissa caught onto her tricks, Melissa says in Courtney's File, "She could make a good cult leader someday." Janine tries to talk with Courtney, she offers to do a puzzle with her. This later backfires, as she writes **** puzzles with permanent marker on the chalkboard, they go into Melissa's classroom while Mr. Johnson cleans the words off the board. She does someone's homework for them for money while waiting. When talking with Ava Coleman, Courtney gets moved up to the 3rd Grade.

In Desking, she declared desking as "deaded" after seeing a video of Jacob Hill desking in the gym.

Season 2[]

In Wrong Delivery, Courtney was asked by Ava to be one of the judges for Abbott Elementary's own Shark Tank. This version aimed to choose what they would do to the remaining money in the Advancement Grant. She was going to vote for Devin's water ice truck, but she ultimately voted for Janine's idea of buying a computer for the library.

In Fundraiser, Courtney, along with other students were listening to Ava's tips on how to sell more candy. She helped Ava in a demonstration on how to pressure a person into buying their candy by using their adorableness.
